What is ActivePHR?
ActivePHR is a secure Personal Health Record (PHR) that can make it easy to keep health-related information for you and your family organized and at your fingertips. Every time you receive healthcare through your health plan, the claims information is automatically updated in your ActivePHR.
Can my covered family members have their own ActivePHR?
Yes, adult family members can have their own personal health record. Minor dependents cannot access ActivePHR directly, but their parent/guardian can maintain a personal health record for them.
Should I be concerned about having my health information online?
No. Your ActivePHR is protected on a secure website that requires you to set up a unique user ID and password. Only you can see the information in your ActivePHR, unless you choose to give someone your unique ID and password. ActivePHR is secure and confidential, and meets all state and federal laws regarding protection of personal health information, including HIPAA.
Can I print the information in my ActivePHR?
Yes, you can print out information such as your health history, an emergency wallet card, immunization records or a new patient form you can take with you when you see a new doctor.
